PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Sunkfill is Light weight filler for any application where light weight properties are required. It consists of unexpanded /partially expanded Perlite/ mineral. It can be used in combination of other filler if required along with cement for designing light weight mass . It can also be used as cementitious filler , with fiber mess or any other reinforcement material.
The dry light weight aggregate is ready to use, light grey in color;
For easy handling and accurate on-the-job mixing, it is usually marketed in HDPE bags.

SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from any contaminates such as dust, oil, wax, grease, curing agents or other substances that may affect adhesion performance. If it is a large area, the surface should be treated by mechanical preparation by grinding or shot blasting. Building debris such as off cuts, sawdust, nails, screws, plaster, wood etc., must be thoroughly cleaned with the help of wire brush - vacuum cleaner - damp sponge.
MIXING
Mix dry powder with cement by volume as per recommended mix of 1:4 to 1:6 , Add water as per desired workability to prepare a homogeneous mix. It should be adequately mixed to ensure full dispersion of materials without lumps.
APPLICATION METHOD
• Sunkfill mix to be applied with trowel/spade in areas to be filled & properly compacted.
• If filling is more than 300 mm , it should be filled in two layers as per standard method .
• Pot life 2-3 hours.
CONSUMPTION
400-500 Kg per m3 of filling depending upon mix proportion used.
Note: Drying time may vary depending on prevailing temperature and humidity conditions.

SHELF LIFE – 24 months from date of manufacturing if the bags are kept in sealed conditions & in a cool & dry place away from moisture & direct sunlight.
